Not sure I'd trust a cheap thrustmaster wheel, they don't exactly have the best of reputation on those 
If it 'helps' at all I've got a G25 and for a short while I had the Xbox360 wheel, the difference is like night and day, the G25 is about a billion times better in every possible way

Gah the Rookie league can be so frustrating. Was running a clean race in second and then I get taken out by someone driving straight at me trying to recover from a spin. Then the same guy takes me out again by steering into me as I pass him on a straight.

It happens, still happens in the D races in the Jetta and so on, just shrug it off and go again in an hour, or as soon as the race ends jump into a Quali session and try and beat your quali time to get near the front of the grids.
It was my last race session of the night so I cant go for another as I have work tomorrow
Also is there any way to fix the car other than to be towed? I went in the pits but steering was still bent, so I've quit out and now my SR is less than it was before I started tonight!

Where you in the 12am race that had the pile up right at the start? I think I might have been in that race.

nope not that i know of, just towed back to pit and then retire usually, or if its only a little bent carry on and adapt (only works if your using a wheel with more than 200 degree rotation)

Unless it's changed in the last build you have to use your (one) reset outside the pits (only in Rookie or D class races, or in some special events).
I rarely used the reset even when I had it (rage-quitting was so much more satisfying, even if it destroys your SR) but I got caught out a couple of times after limping to the pits to save a tow, only to find you get no damaged repaired. You have to leave the pits and try again, facing a loooooong tow in which you get to contemplate your navel, watch a movie, make a meal, have a shower, sleep for a few hours, get married, have seven children, retire, collect your pension and then...
And then you've forgotten you were in a race.

I'm blaming you for the fact that I just bought a G27 now
It was a complete mess from what I saw in my mirrors.
I need to remember to save replays so I can show you the utter stupidity of some people.

Thanks. I'll be on all weekend if anyone is about. Finally get my rank above 3.0. I read in the racing code that if you get above 4.0 you automatically go to the next rank, D. Can anyone confirm?
I did actually watch that out of curiosity. Someone ran into the back of another guy and it spun him across the track. I assume you were the unlucky car he got span right into?
