I flashed my Sapphire 4GB 480 just now, a primary school kid could do it.
Literally, I didn't even dismantle the card to check it was 8GB underneath (so brave).

Wish I had been able to find a 4GB on the day, but they sold out like hotcakes.
Opposed to Nvidia robbing us of vram..cough 970..cough..
Thought VSR was a good wheeze to check, turned it on and set two games to run on max detail to get over 4GB but the driver failed at 4GB
Guess I'll have to have a look underneath after all!
