Rainbow 6: Siege - Closed Beta

You guys realise they are releasing access codes in batches to stop everyone logging in at the same time and crashing the download and game servers?

Plus, apparently the matchmaking servers are not working properly anyway, so it is probably better to have to wait to see if they fix things first.
 
Yeah the matchmaking takes a while, and pretty much refuses to work when you have a party of more than two. Having said that, when you get in, it's an amazing game. It's basically CS 2.0.

Yeah but don't tell you that until the day the beta starts, a whole day I've been waiting now for my key, and the beta ends on Monday.... it's a joke tbh.

They had an Alpha, Testing phase, now Beta, should have already had the infrastructure in place to allow everyone to login. This rate the game will be a mess when it's a released 2 months! the more people they get on the better surely? as it will give them the ideas of what they need to provide server wise etc.

Ubisoft are actually worse than EA.

I had my code yesterday and redeemed it today, but it certainly wasn't worth it.

IMHO you're not missing out on much. I'm not enjoying it at all. Looks like it will get old pretty damn quickly. I'm bored of it already, just not my thing. I was hoping it would re-kindle the spark of the old RS:Vegas days but it feels as dull as dish water. If I could gift the beta code to anyone I would!

what is it you dont like exactly? from what i saw the shooting looks very codish, low skill cap with no recoil, i just want vegas 3 ;( ;(

It just lacks any soul if that makes any sense?! I found it really dull and boring. I was hoping for a vegas 3 but this is so far from that. It lacks any redeeming qualities. At least it saves me a wasted purchase now though!

There didn't appear to be much recoil from the guns I used (only the first starter guns to be fair though) I've never really been a fan of COD games though so I can't really compare. The last COD i played was the first modern warfare.
 
Hey sorry guys... I actually didn't even need a code? It was just in my uplay games list :/ Not sure how or why. Tonight I've been playing the terrorist assault or whatever it's called. Pretty fun on "realistic" actually. Still don't think I'll buy this though.
