Sounds like the rasp guys were screwed over a little by the resellers,

'yeah sure whatever we will sell your little toy thing to a couple of kids'
'be careful there may be a lot of interest'
'lol, yeah we will stay on that, dont want to be took offline by a few man-childs'
'and provide us a link to the sales pages please'
'yeah will do, bless.'

next day-

'WTF! why are my cables melting the carpet, quick take the site down or tell them we have sold out!!!!'

I dont seem to be having any issue with Virgins DNS servers, just the Farnell site is very busy and timing out.

Not risking entering any card details at the moment, will have to wait until the demand is a little less and everything is a bit more stable, I dont want to buy 10 by accident or give all my details to some script kiddy thanks to a hammered server becoming more vulnerable.

Argh so annoying, registration page just fails to submit every time. Now they're saying RS might not be selling till the end of the week? Do they actually talk to the distributers :S

I think its more of a case that the distributors are currently refusing to answer the phone.

Its something you sort out before the date surely, plus if i were releasing a product i would want a number i can call 24/7 for exactly this reason.
