Ordered mine last week so should be here soon enough. Seen some acrylic cases but not a big fan - some of the designs out there are pretty bad IMO.

That reminds me, must get ordering some SD cards - is the general consensus that the Transcend 8Gb SDHC Class 6 card the one to go for?

I ordered a Samsung 8GB Class 10 SDHC for £5.99. They are meant to be really good, I hope. :D

ordered one just now, £8.48 in total every one who has made the purchase seams happy, although iam going to do some speed tests when i get it Hoping tommorow morning.

Got an email saying mine is on its way. So now it time for me to start thinking of which OS I'm going to use, SD card, case etc...

OS whise I'll stick with Linux based Debian for PI. The case is going to be the one from modmypii. I'm also going to get the Samsung 8GB Class 10 SDHC card too.

I'm purely using my Pi as a file server on my home network, I'll have a NAS type storage device connected to it. It will also be connected to my HDTV to use a media centre too. Exciting times!

Anyone know if the codes to get in the rs store to pre order can be shared? I got mine but don't plan on using it so it's free to anyone if it will work.
 
Mine also arrived this morning, but for all the SD Cards in the house (20+), I can't find a single one large enough to hold the OS...

Trying to buy one from OCUK but they are all out of stock except for an 8gb class 4 card.

Edit: Just ordered the Samsung 8GB Class 10 SDHC. Thanks guys.

the memory stick i mentioned post 848 which i ordered yesterday arrived this morning.

also my rasberry arrived today as well from farnell :-) still wrapped up only just sat down for the day looking forward to eating a meal :-)

I had a look at openELEC earlier and it seems you have to compile it on a Linux box? Well the only one I have is the Pi :(

It failed as well :(
