How long did it take to be delivered? I got a despatch confirmation 2 days ago but still no pi!
It only took a day or two.

Answering my own thread but I ended up ordering a SainSmart 9" TFT LCD 1024*600 Display, so far really impressed with it for its cost.

My free time for projects is very spratic so to avoid threads which go for weeks without updates I tend to avoid posting up anything until I'm done (what I think will take 2 months ends up taking 6+).Would be interested in your progress if you made a project thread for it
For this one though I already have the software side of things now built, configured, and working. Artwork design is pretty much there so its now onto fabrication; only issue at the moment is power supply, I need to provide the cab with both 12 and 5v but want to avoid having to feed two separate AC adaptors into the machine.

Does anyone use their rpi for live TV using a tuner?
I have a compatible TV tuner but cannot find any guides for setting it up on Kodi

Pretty much any of the places named in the posts above, or the usual Rainforest site.
Could try turning video acceleration off in advanced options.

Anybody using Rasplex and what is the PI3 like for large 1080p remuxed files 20gig plus in size please?
I had an original RPi B (an early version with only 256MB RAM) knocking around that was unused and I was always struggling for a project to put it to use.
With the Edge browser not yet supporting ad blockers I have resorted to modifying the HOSTS file, but that is a pain to maintain across multiple machines and it's not possible on Windows Phone.
So at the weekend I set up a Pi-Hole, and I've got to say that I'm impressed. Quick to install on the RPi and then only needed some simple router configuration (static IP for the RPi and then set the RPi as the primary DNS).
Browsing some websites with a horrible amount of Ads (like windowscentral.com) is now much more tolerable, especially on my mobile.
Only thing I saw that was unintentionally blocked were videos from the BBC Sport website, so I need to investigate getting those whitelisted. Other than that it looks pretty good so far.
