Is 7800X still rumoured to be a 12GB part?

So £1000 would be nearly three times what their previous 12GB card cost even if it has far more shaders.

Say Nvidia make the 5090 and want $4999 in a few years and AMD can make a card that is within 10-15% and charge $1499 while making the margins they traditionally would, do you think they should charge $4500 or they are giving it away?

If they are able to hit the margins they want and achieve that while being within 10-15% performance for much cheaper than the 4090 then they should do so. They surely would gain a lot of market share if they did assuming they could keep up with demand.

We can’t be saying Nvidia is milking us with their silly prices and then when sensible prices are mentioned turn around and say AMD would be giving them away etc etc…

This is the angle I came from when I said £1000.

I think Nvidia are over charging by a massive amount I applied what I would consider paying extra for Nvidia features, then came up with a price is be willing to not even consider Nvidia an option.

By his logic all sports cars should cost £2,000,000 because that's what Bugatti charge

This is someone born in to a wealthy family, never wanted for anything and when she grew up Daddies contacts gave her an easy high paying job.

She actually thinks anyone can simply walk in to a £250K job, and that people who don't do that chose to be low paid, that's her world.
