XTX will be more than 10% faster than the XT so will actually be better value card for FPS/$. Do not often see the higher end card being better value.

Raw performance is far less than the RTX 4090 but greater than the as-yet-unlaunched RTX 4080. I can see rapid price cuts in Nvidia products other than the 4090.

But even at that they could have shown some proper metrics vs the 6950XT in a range of games. Perhaps that will come out from additional press sources as these things are sometimes provided.
They did have some 4K ray traced fps vs last gen (6950xt), not much mind

Pricing has me very interested. Up to 1.7x performance vs 6900XT (1.6x RT was noted on the graphs) puts in the ballpark of Nvidia top end so will be interesting to see how they respond, if at all.

It's crazy, made this tongue in cheek gif years ago (and somewhat ironically given the slow adoption of RTX back then) and honestly it's like Radeon is an even worse position now than then. The prices are ok I guess, we'll see how the 4080 does soon as that will be the main competition tho I'd buy the 4090 before any of these. Bleah! :(

Just looking at the RT again, no mention of what FSR mode they are using?

If that is CP and DL 2 MAXED with FSR quality, that is decent enough uplift tbf.

Wondering if something like a used RTX 3080 + FSR 3.0 (assuming open source again) will be the ultimate bang for the buck ray tracing card for the future :D

Tbh this doesn't look like a halo release to me so maybe they're holding back the big juicer for the 4090 TI.
This is an impression I got, just like how Nvidia had the 780ti black edition? In the wings?

But as some people want rt, I want colours, dp 2.1 is a big deal as long as the monitor will handle it.

If it will bring my 4080 to 999 then thats awesome
I think that's the thing, the lead in will allow Nvidia to react to the prices as I doubt this is reaching the 4090 in performance (of course it will in select games that preference the hardware) so they can adjust the 4080 pricing if need be. Essentially 6 weeks until the cards release.
