Ok, you convinced me, how can I buy 4090 right now?! D:

I heard you might need to see a man in a leather jacket first. He is a strict and uncompromising master. The more you buy the more you save!

The pro's aren't using RT to see you in the reflections to get the shot in advance?

Pfft! Another noob! Have you never experienced RTX enabled Super Enhance?

I can see the next move.. I get it. Jensen will then bring out RTX Sunglasses to filter those reflections, you look cool, and it adds another frame along the way!!

Also comes with complementary RTX kneepads for when you need to get into a prone position for the next round of price increases.

GET THEE WALLET OUT!!!

It's definitely a clearance model due to the typo- for only £3000 you will get the one where the box has the SUPREME properly spelt.

Imagine telling your mate you got an RTX4090 SUPRIM - they might think you failed English at GCSE or got some dodgy fake RTX4090 from White Van Dave.
RTX Lube for the 4060. RTX special edition Dry Lube for the 4070 16GB.

Nvidia feeling the heat from the global recession is now offering incentives to buy its cards.

I have a 3060ti and the way people bang on about the £1000 cards gives the impression that gpus like mine must give N64 level graphics.

With DLSS even my card makes Cyberpunk look decent and run well enough .. Though to be fair the game itself doesn't make me want to play it anyway cos it's average.

It used to be pc master race vs consoles but now it seems its a pc master race vs pc pauper race.

I'd say, the more extreme pricing is of GPUs (and other components), the more extreme some gamers become.

But you can get 80 fps with RT enabled on a 7900xtx easily. Enable FSR and that's it. Or you can use an Ampere card + DLSS. Why would you need a 4090 for that?
Going from an Ampere card/7900XTX to the 4090 allows you to upgrade from DLSS/FSR Performance mode to DLSS quality/Native in ray tracing games whilst generating higher fps. And the difference between DLSS quality and performance is very noticeable at 4K. That’s exactly the point I was making. The 4090 provides tangible upgrades in visuals and performance which are perceptible. Whether that‘s worth it for $700 more is subjective.

For me personally, raster games were never particularly slow on my 3080 Ti. If RT had not shown any improvements, I would not upgrade to the 4090/ 7900XTX performance tier. The added VRAM of the 7900XTX is worth more to me over the additional frames I will never notice anyway.

The problem here is AMD at least kept it's OTT high end dGPU at the same price as the previous generation,so AMD looks reasonable even though the dGPU is expensive, because it constrains price increases.

Nvidia took the RTX4060 12GB and priced it at $900 and the RTX4070 16GB for nearly $1300 and has the RTX4090 now hitting as much as £2000~£2200 for AIB models.

This means for the sub £500 market we are going to essentially get what is an RTX3050 successor replacing the RTX3060 and RTX3060TI. This is another Turing type move, perhaps even worse than that!
