Amazes me how people always defend amd, a company worth billions...... :D That's one area where AMD are fantastic though, people say their marketing is terrible, which in many ways it is but they have been able to make out like they are doing good for the pc gaming scene and doing right by their customers with all their "love" for open source and using industry standards etc. lots of gullible people fall for it :o

Must admit that is very impressive seeing bang4bucks footage where it is using similar power but running far better and temps in 50s :eek:

Drivers haven't been an issue for many many years now. This is exactly the thing that AMD are up against, people still believing something that was true decades ago still being relevent now. The "bUt MuH DrIvUrS! whinge was consigned to the ******* a long time ago.

people still believing it's a tiny underdog of a company being ran from someone's basement.

AMD are your friend, close relative even, they would lend you their wife for the night if you buy AMD.


That's what consumers are up against. AMD card will be as expensive and NVDA and probably a lot slower

Not sure where you're geting this from, im referering to the outdated rambling about drivers.

And why would they be "a lot" slower? The 6xxx series in raster was basically neck-a-neck with the 3000 series, they only really fell behind in ray tracing which nvidia has an advantage in having brought it to market first so they're naturally ahead at this point.
