Really getting tired of hacking now

At this stage maybe phone Microsoft and get some help, maybe if you prove identity over the phone they'll tell you the key?

Hope you get this sorted, you mentioned in another post you've got some ongoing health issues, I'm sure this isn't making things any easier, but as others said full reinstall has to be the best option.

I want to format and reinstall but I NEED my office 2019 key and I cant find it

Oh for God's sake, either buy another key or download a free office alternative like LibreOffice to tide you over after you reformat. Are you seriously sacrificing all your personal information, accounts and very realistically your bank accounts for the sake of a bloody Office install?

Let’s be honest, these people are far cleverer than most of us when it comes to this sort of thing.

Depends who 'us' is. These volume type attackers aren't all the sophisticated. It's different if it's state sponsored espionage using zero day attacks, but that's not what you've experienced.

Done a bit more digging and it seems like I was done by Iranian hackers

How do you know they are Iranian? You’ve probably been done from multiple different sources have sold your information on.

There’s no way this was a slight error. This is a massive security risk and stupidity beyond belief breach and frankly if you were my mother I’d be confiscating your computer and taking over using my power of attorney. I’m amazed you’ve not lost more.

For the love of god do not go giving out anything over the phone or believing people who claim to be from your bank or from HMRC and they want you to send money to another account for security reasons.

Indeed. Rob here thinks someone’s “hacked” him, when the reality is he’s just given away his computer details freely to anyone and everyone.

That means nothing. Just because one group use something doesn’t mean countless others don’t. It’s a really common scam vulnerable and incompetent people fall for. It’s the kind of thing you warn 80 year olds and children to avoid.
Have you got some kind of dislike for me or something. You’re coming across as aggressive and frankly, a bit of a tool.

Yeah I’ll just burn a £200 gen 4 SSD

I don’t know you. I just know that you’ve made some very very basic computer security errors, and have done for a long long time, for which you have lost a lot of money for either yourself or other people perpetuating attacks of this nature on vulnerable people.

You come here asking for help, are given the solution multiple times over, and still have the audacity to roll your eyes and argue with people who clearly know far far better. I dislike that, and I’m posting in the same way you are, in the hopes it gets through to you.
