When i was in sheffield, almost every night after work i'd come home, have a couple of drinks and mix all evening. Great fun

I have to ask... are you the Richdog i know from an OcUK meetup many moons ago?

Krooton, I believe you use ableton with a controller, yes? After recording a mix do you go back and adjust or tweak the mix, or simply leave it as it sounded live?

The best 'summery' track of the year for me and the best Filterheadz track I've heard for some time. Funky and uplifting, love it :)

Well i think your opinion stinks :p

On a more serious note the Tatana track i didn't think much of when i first heard it but then you recommended it a while ago so i thought i'd give it another listen, it still didn't do much for me and now you've said it's better than the Filterheadz track so it's had another listen and well, it's nowhere near as good. (So NER!)

The David West track i've not heard until now and it's actually pretty good, i'll give you that!

So i've been looking through new music this morning and got quite excited to see a new Fabio Stein track... only for it to be a remix of the Tetris music :(:( what on earth was he thinking?
 
Yeah but it's only been released recently, i hate radio shows that play tracks that aren't available to buy for months afterwards

With armin, whilst i don't dislike him i just really don't get the fuss. His radio show is 70% generic throw away trance with the other 30% being pretty good. I've seen him live a couple of times and whilst i really enjoyed it both times i've seen dozens of better DJs
 
Nu NRG were indeed awesome, Kosmosy, Natural Think, Dreamland, Last Experience etc etc!

All was not lost though after they broke up, Giuseppe Ottaviani has released some outstanding tracks since
 
Whilst Nu NRG at their peak was a little bit before my time, I'd say some of Ottaviani's tracks may well be as good

Check out 'Through your eyes' by him, it's one of the classics of my time (so to speak)
