Recommend me some trance?

Just finished recording a new mix, it's a little bit different to the usual. There are 30 tracks squeezed into just over 20mins and it's taken me 15 hours to do it!! I'd love to hear feedback and constructive criticism from anyone that gives it a listen :)




Mods - we established earlier in the thread that posting samples of tracks is ok provided they were under about 90 seconds. Based on that i'm assuming it should be ok to post this mix this since you barely hear more than a few seconds of any one track

I changed it a bit after you listened, put another couple of tracks in and tidied the end a little. The link above has got the most up-to-date version
 
I don't think you can really judge the state of trance (which i think is fantastic at the moment :)) on that mix. It was more a bit of fun and a test of my Ableton ability than anything meaningful.

I'd love to link some mixes by Krooton, CDj-Rossi and myself to try and get you back into the swing of trance but the mods will most likely throw a hissy fit!

And yeah for a track over 10years old Flaming June still sounds fantastic but then pretty much everything by BT is extraordinarily good. You might have recognised a couple of his tracks in that short mix ;)

Miikka Leinonen - Galactic Evolution

This is a few months old now but it's criminal that's it's not been mentioned yet. Without a doubt one of the most well produced trance tracks this year, it's absolutely superb :)

You're not the first person to say make it longer, i may well stretch it out to an hour or so next time but even that 20min mix took 15hours!! Without breaking the rules by being too specific can i ask where you got the mix from? ;)

I listened to the album the other day and i was very impressed. A few iffy male vocals but overall a superb release and definitely recommended. I love the acoustic track with Julie Thompson; white sands at the end
 
That place is a big pile of faeces (for want of the more explicit word). I was a member for over a year before i got sick to death of the hate. For a trance forum there was a distinct lack of trance fans :(
