Red arrow incident

Damn, RIP. Takes a man with great skill and balls to get to that position, kudos to him.

One thing i don't understand though, is that the statement says "he is ejected", implying by somebody other than himself. Can you eject somebody remotely?

**** off, did you seriously think before you posted that?

R.I.P to the Pilot involved, I know who it was but I can't say. The name of the Pilot will come out soon enough though.

The worst news, so sorry for your loss mate. Thoughts go to his family :(

It just seems to be one tragedy after another at the moment :(
Thoughts are with the pilot's family and the rest of the team. I hope they push through this and continue to thrill crowds around the world with their amazing aerobatics.

He is ejected:confused:

Crikey that kinda confirms thats something went wrong with the seat, even if we already worked it out. What seats do the Typhoons use? thought they used the mk10 aswell.

Calm down precious. At the time I posted that, news reports were that he was 'only' injured, hence I went there.

They use the Mk. 16A seat, so not affected. Let's not jump to the conclusion that it was a problem with the seat just yet.
