Red Dead Redemption 2 (PS4, Xbox and PC Hopefully)

Emmmmm so you guys are happy with broken hdr on your ££££ TVs lol......

As it is, sdr is providing a better image than hdr and likewise with forcing the ps 4 pro to run in 1080p so there is absolutely nothing wrong with all the back lash surrounding this.

HDR works fine for me on X. It looks much better with it enabled. It’s also only meant to be broke for this game so not really a fault with the tv..

Mine looks great to me (I'm just glad I went for the Xbox ONE X version)

I turned HDR off on my X1X and the image quality was noticeably poorer so turned it back on. Granted I only have a lower end Samsung 4k TV but I guess HDR isn't completely broken.

I don't understand some people, maybe they weren't given enough attention as children. That or they still are children which would explain it!

It's called being bored. Like any petulant child, just ignore their outbursts and eventually they will move onto something else

Given that Vincent and the other guy who did the in depth testing are world class calibrators etc. that work with various companies and brands when it comes to TV tech..... I think it is safe to say they are the ones who are correct. Hdr looks 'fine' on my pro but it is clearly inferior compared to other games hdr implementation such as assassin's creed.

Enjoy the game in its current state if you want but I and others paid good money for the likes of oled TV, xb1x/PS4 pro to play at the best iq possible and with the current setup, it is not.

Also that hdr testing was done with a xb1x....

But it’s just this game and it looks “fine” anyway. Not seeing the big issue tbh other games have better HDR yes but other games don’t look as good as this overall or as detailed. Much more to this game than it’s HDR presentation which even if broken as the guy with his graphs and charts states it still looks fantastic to me.

It’s a bit like the 4K Blu Ray with some being better than others for PQ and HDR quality.

Just enjoy the game.... :)

Guys, does the bonus on or off options in the in-game settings reflect what version of game you purchased.

Is the option there for people who got the standard edition as well?

I have the bonus options turned off myself.
