Finally sat down with this tonight. Playing on standard PS4 and looks great to me.
Only got an hour or so in, but I blew a hole in some guy’s face with the rifle. All in all, an hour well spent.

Gore in this game can be pretty intense. Doing one of the bounty hunter missions and someone charged me while I had a double barrelled shotgun equipped. Tapped R2 to do the execution style kill animation, and it straight up blew his head clean off with lots of blood and bits of head going everywhere
Nor mine.

yeah the legendary Grizzly I killed last night was brilliantly graphic too , super intense

Ah man I am gutted, I am still in the early part of the game riding my horse hit a rock and went flying, horse severely hurt and I need a horse reviver, didn't have one so had to either walk or get a stagecoach to the nearest store, bought a reviver went back and the horse has died!
Now I have no horse, hardly and money and I am stuck lugging a saddle about everywhere
What do I do now, what happened to the very first horse that was provided, the tennesse walker?

Did you stable or sell it? If you stabled it then it should be in any stable, if you sold it you're out of luck

I sold the beastly black Shire that Hosea asked me to at the stables, but no idea where the one before that went

Yeah I’ve seen him in St Denis and Valentine. He’s getting about a bit. Like you, I just ignore him. The guy doesn’t want me finding Gavin anyway, I’d just shoot him and loot him

I did lasso a moose, then another moose charged into me
I've yet to have a horse die! I'm amazed considering I'm 70+ hrs on it according to the XB app

Make sure you go back and loot your money from behind the painting of the woman on the wall. The same couple pinched my $20k and I had to go give em what for with the sawn-off.
