Red Dead Redemption 2 (PS4, Xbox and PC Hopefully)

I just booted it up to play again. Just to wander around in the world a bit.

There are things that I wasn't mad about in the game, but I feel confident in saying this is the greatest game world ever created.

This is the game's biggest achievement, it'll be a long while before what R* managed here is exceeded. If the rest of the game was at the same level then this would be up there as the best game of all time rather than just a very good one.
 
so i've been playing a bit more but just kind of exploring and mucking about. The trouble is, now my honour level is very low and i've got bounties everywhere. Might it be best to just start again? (i may have an older save from beginning of chapter 2..) Also, if i used a cheat, i know that means i can't get trophies - but if i load up an old save, is that still the case?
 
I do think they should add more random events and some scripted events after you have finished the game. I have done most things apart from finding some gang camps, legendary animals, plants and weapons but they are just little side bits. I even did the little event in Saint Denis ;) and just have to do a couple of more for the mayor. I just find that although there is still loads to do I would prefer it if it was done in the progression towards something rather than just completion progress. I did see the naked man the other day as well but not found the sasquatch yet though. I know they have been concentrating on the online mode recently but would love some more story based things in the game. Like I said previously I would be more than happy to pay a small amount for the 1st game missions and story to be integrated..

Oh and BTW... Where were some of the fun things like the cart races like in the first game? They were great fun.

You can also donate all of your money to the camp and go and "surrender" if your bounty isnt too high. You spend a bit of time in jail and then are released. I have done this for bounties around $400-500
 
Loved the end of the Chapter 3 absolutely superb, thought the game had found its pacing. Then I hit Saint Denis, wading through treacle again, overall thoroughly enjoying it though.
 
Has anyone got any hints/tips of how to catch the Legendary Longnose Gar near Largas? I can hook it but I just cannot land it. I just can’t seem to reel it in fast enough. Get it in to the side a little bit and then it starts struggling and takes more line and ends up farther out. If I put resistance on the line I snap it :(

I didn't have an issue with this at all. I tried on the bank of the river at first but only caught a couple of tiddlers. So I went on the train bridge and tried, nothing again. So I then thought I would give the worms a go (Its technically part of the river so was using the live crickets bait) and got it straight away. Just did normally, stopped reeling when it was fighting, then when it was a bit closer I pulled the line so it couldn't reel out and then got it.. Was funny then the guy at the post office said "You're gonna mail that?" :D
 
Can you rob banks outside of missions? I've only done one bank robbery via a mission, but can't seem to do it outside of a mission...
