Red Dead Redemption 2 (PS4, Xbox and PC Hopefully)

Thankfully my lass is off on Friday so she's gonna set up the PS4 pro for me and get the game installed read for me!

She's a good un really

If you've chosen to ignore or simply haven't seen the posts from him then fair enough, but it definitely has been going on in the thread. I think you'd do well to take on your own advice about the break ;)
 
I get called an xbox fanboy all the time.. even though i love playstation and ive owned:
2x PS1's
3x PS2's
2x PSP's
2x PS3's
1x PS Vita
1x PS4

Right now i own an Xbox one X and i have a 1080ti gaming rig, but my non-techie friends always call me a fanboy when i say i'd rather play red-dead on XB1X because it WILL be the better looking version of the game until it either comes out on PC or the new consoles arrive.. especially as i'll be playing it on a 55" 4k HDR telly.. It probably doesn't help when the games they use to tell me how much better playstation is i often refer to as walking simulators.. Games with super fancy graphics but 30-40% of all the animations on the game are pre-rendered.. I'm just enjoying the Game pass and play anywhere at the moment and i'm loving the 360 games like Skate 3 and RDR enhanced in 4k for XB1X.. and the 60fps options in quite a lot of games now. :|

This is the one thing swaying me to buy it for my 1X. God of War, HZD and Spiderman - all particularly bad in the menus - were ridiculously loud and I suspect RDR2 will top the three of them.

IDK if its just a playstation thing, but my XB1X has been inaudible in the living room since i bought it, no matter what game i'm playing.

haha well im pretty sure it should be fine, the scorpio editions had some issues but afaik the regular XBX1 consoles have been pretty much flawless, i play lots of 4k30 and 1080p60 games for long periods and i have literally never heard the fan noise on my console from around 6-8ft away from the TV on a couch, its in an open style TV stand with about 2 inch vertical clearance and about 6-7 inch rear clearance, honestly most of the games i play like GTA5 i know the console is being held back by the lower settings because the devs haven't "enhanced" their games yet.

I have plenty space around mine, been using it for Amazon/Netflix and UHD movies, not so much gaming. Just received a dispatch email for the game from Amazon, thought it might be next day but it’s arriving Friday.
