Red Dead Redemption 2

Today's patch has totally broken the immersion of my game.

Will have a look at drivers n stuff tomorrow but the same settings as yesterday now giving 45 in camp and mid 50's in other places...
 
Seems to run a lot better after the patch, everything on Ultra now with better performance, it ran pretty well for me on day one so this is just a bonus now.

Hopefully they'll improve performance further. :D

Already a few character mods :D


I'm surpised the physics and animations just seem to (mostly) still work when swapping things around like that. Usually when you try to do that in games in breaks everything.

I was on 441.12 the game ready drivers and reinstalled with latest 441.20

I was really jumping the gun TBH. If I had thought about it instead of getting hacked off, I usually have to do it for GTA every now and again.

Anyway did a major chapter three mission and was solid 60FPS
 
It seems my game runs better now, I turned most stuff up to high today and it ran nice/ gtx 1080 1440p.

I still have bug where mouse curser keeps coming back and getting stuck on screen. Im playing on pad and every 1 min or so I have to move mouse off screen. It's kind of annoying. any one know how to fix?

I've set most things to Max on my lowly gtx 1080. One thing I can't quite fathom, is the hair on people looks strange, I can't quite put my finger on why though. I'm using vulcan, has anyone who was using dx12 and crashing tried it since the update?
 
Just applied the patch, no freezes or stuttering for me, if anything its running smoother than before. So much so that I might be able to turn up some extra options now. Received the free poncho but I started with a free duster and it looks rather cool so will keep wearing that for now.
