Red Dead Redemption 2

Will most probably double dip, although Rockstar have really let the singleplayer fans down by not making any story DLC. Such a shame when the story is so detailed and immersive compared to the online experience which feels dead even with the new pursuits update.

I can't see how there can be more demand for online crap than story content from the community, or is it just Rockstar taking the easy route?

Already got 5700XT Nitro+ and LG 27GL850 monitor and I'm waiting for a 3700X, 16GB RAM, Fractal Design Meshify S2 case, 970 Evo 1TB and still undecided about the motherboard :p

I hope it's going to be enough for RDR2 and Cyberpunk!
Nice. Deffo enough for red dead. Cyberpunk remains to be seen, but I would say it will be. It’s a Nvidia heavy title though, so it will have raytracing and the big boy cards will definitely get the most out of it. I’ve already got £1500 tucked away for a 3080Ti.

Mobo wise, go for a GB elite. That will do you nicely for £200.

Never pre-ordered from rockstar on PC before, will Red Dead 2 be pre-download a couple of days early before release, or is it likely to be download on release day?

Not a major problem, but saves switching PC on before i go to work to set it off downloading.

Rich.

With it being 150gb I would imagine preload will be a definite

Im starting to strongly dislike Rockstar/Take Two.

Why cant i purchase a standard edition? Instead its forcing a "free" upgrade to insane/super/special/deluxe edition. This is clearly not "free" as the standard edition would be £44.99 or £49.99

I don't want to have to be made to pay £10 more. I don't want pay to have money/gold/guns already unlocked for me

GTA V was a preload with a go live after 00:00 and I fully expect RDR2 to be the same.

Yeah it does suck that the R* store does not have a standard edition listed, however CDKeys do stock the standard edition for £44.99 but that is discounted price from £59.99. So I think that will be the base price once the game is launched and the upgrade preorder offer ends.

They are taking the mick with this release, however wait until Humble and GOG open up preorders next week or get from CDkeys.
