Red Dead Redemption on PC - 29/10/24

I'm looking forward to this, I haven't played it since its original Xbox release. That being said, if Rockstar plan on pricing it like a full game release, I certainly won't be buying it on launch.
I played it for the first time recently.

Felt it was very clunky and dated compared to RDR2 and gave up after a while.

I am actually quite interested all things being said as never played it, but stil feel it's a big cash grab still, though at least it's on PC now...

So i look on rdr and it says theres a bundle with 10% off, i own rdr2 and steam says its in library but it doesnt take off rdr2 price lol Its saying like instead of 90 odd quid its 80 odd quid, what about the rest of the 59 quid price of rdr 2 being took off since i own it. :p It shoulda said since u own rdr 2, and rdr is 39.99 it should be saying £35.99 instead for the bundle surely. Not like i want it right now anyhow but for others i bet there wondering how come it aint that price if i own rdr2 already.

1: Of course R* Launcher is needed, a lite version you sign into.

2: DLSS and FG versions are 3.7.0/.0 so easy enough to swap t the latest without needing DLSSTweaks.

3: Got this on first launch, 2nd launch was fine lol:

4: R* Launcher has forgotten my sign in twice on launch of the game so had to put password back in!

5: Performance is great, 4K DLAA hits the max 144fps cap in the game using max everything, actually looks water is good quality but there is no GI so don't expect RDR2 levels of lighting lol.

Will continue playing...

Yeah sod 30fps :p

I've played an hour now and have to say I'm very impressed, took some re adjustment to get used to the controls but playing with a controller is great.

Only annoyance is RGSC forgets my login every time i start the game so have to input the password each time, must be a way to sort that....
