Red Dead Redemption Thread

I'm relying on Boomerang. My list has been empty all week... if they don't send this tomorrow there'll be hell to pay. :D
 
Looking at the NeoGaf 360/PS3 comparison that has been posted, both versions look very good. I think it's fair to say the 360 version certainly looks better in this case, and I don't like the sound of the reported framerate drops either.

I'll still be waiting for the LoT/DF analysis but it looks like I'll get this on the 360, though I'm still not decided :p

Oh, and Gamespot have given (both versions) a 9.5, I usually look at their reviews first, combined with others, good news :D

Just had word that it's been despatched Special Delivery via Parcelforce, so it may be with me tomorrow :D
 
I think this comparison stands out the most.

The 360 is definitely looking sharper in that one, and yeh the comparison is most obvious there.

Also, Robert can you please check the ID's thread - some updates required!
 
There's another one where the 360 version has twice the amount of foliage as the PS3.

It's pretty much exactly the same as GTA IV, blurry and with a lower framerate. I personally would have thought they'd have sorted this out for RDR, apparently it's not even a port and they had a dev team for each version. Expected better.
