I've noticed a drop in performance since the last patch.

BTW does the spawn on Squad leader actually work? Normally I just end up in a random spawn point.

LOL! Just read this on steam

They are rolling back the fix.

Yoshiro: We have figured out what is causing some people to lose frame rates.
We will be reverting the sound loss fix (it was the cause). Servers won't need to update.

Rolling back.. AGAIN?!? what's that the second damn time now

These things happen with PC games unfortunately.

Sometimes, patches can break more than they fix.

I am sure they are not thinking "Lets **** this up good and proper for Parky".

These devs actually give a **** and will get there, they would want to know the cause more than you.

That's the thing though, all the responses I and others with the same problem have had have been that it is our problem and the only fix is to essentially get every server to change it's anti-cheat settings so we can play, which as it turns does not work.

I'm sure they will get the game fixed up eventually but some of the responses I've seen in the those forums are shocking.

To be fair to them they are fixing things quick.

I don't see the problem with rolling out an 18mb patch to fix the loss of FPS that was caused by the supposed sound loss fix. Which didn't work.

I'd rather they fix things the same day, than wait months for a patch like some devs do.

As a server admin in touch with the devs (A fair over the last few days) they have never recommended I do such a thing.

Haters will hate :)

TW are a good dev.

See how long for DICE to even acknowledge any issues with BF3 a week after launch.

In all honesty they should have extended the beta or at least started it much sooner. It was pretty obvious what the issues were from the minute it opened and 2 weeks was not enough time to fix them, clearly.

Sigh...

This forum is becoming a place of if you have any problems with patches, performance, bugs or just upset with your purchase shut the hell up and take it. There are so many complaints and generally about the same things :(

Sorry, I do not think I explained myself properly.

I meant that tongue in cheek.

There are blatantly issues but my point was that they are dammed if they do, dammed if they dont at the moment.

You have every right to be annoyed as you have paid your money and it does not work for you.

I want you to play as it would be good to see you around the server.

I enjoy playing on your server and with everyone else as when things are working good i'm usually a top end player. But when it dives to 15fps it's abit difficult lol

EDIT : Looks as if steam has just finished downloading something with RO2 and it was very small!

Probably to remove the sound fix.

We have all been were you are, every PC gamer has at some point.

One of mine was GTA IV - lol

GTA won :)

Sinny, who answered your request?

Was someone called James

Bear in mind though mate, if you can join a game even though their will be framerate problems they won't refund you as most likely it'll be fixed soon, I worded my support ticket in a way that made the game sound unplayable.

Not being able to join any games being my only reason really through the server browser, after trying all fixes posted by tripwire and steam I was still unable to join any servers.

they said they just revoke the licence and refund my money, I'll still have the game for 5 days but I've already uninstalled it as it's too much of a pain to play despite trying.

My god, people who don't have issues with this game aren't likely to post about "problems" but from what i have read on here and elsewhere, its seems the unfinished product (beta) ran better than the "so-called" finished retail version.

When will it be safe to buy this??
Not much sanity left as it is :)

Appears this game's hardcore status is well deserved.

As with most PC games, some have issues, some do not.

If you do not, the game is awesome if you would prefer a slower paced, more tactical shooter.
