They are rolling back the fix.
Yoshiro: We have figured out what is causing some people to lose frame rates.
We will be reverting the sound loss fix (it was the cause). Servers won't need to update.
These things happen with PC games unfortunately.
Sometimes, patches can break more than they fix.
I am sure they are not thinking "Lets **** this up good and proper for Parky".
These devs actually give a **** and will get there, they would want to know the cause more than you.
That's the thing though, all the responses I and others with the same problem have had have been that it is our problem and the only fix is to essentially get every server to change it's anti-cheat settings so we can play, which as it turns does not work.
To be fair to them they are fixing things quick.
I don't see the problem with rolling out an 18mb patch to fix the loss of FPS that was caused by the supposed sound loss fix. Which didn't work.
I'd rather they fix things the same day, than wait months for a patch like some devs do.
Haters will hate
Sigh...
This forum is becoming a place of if you have any problems with patches, performance, bugs or just upset with your purchase shut the hell up and take it. There are so many complaints and generally about the same things
