It's the Unreal '2.5' engine. I think the engine used in UT2004 is UT2 engine. And I think recent games using the Unreal Engine have been on the unreal 2.5 engine, which has graphical improvements.

Of course they now have access to the full code (as they won the 'Make something Unreal' mod competition), so there are MANY improvements over the mod.

If this game sells well they could buy access to the Unreal 3 engine, now that would be fantastic!

The UE2.5 is just the UE2 engine with the UT2004 codebase. There were a few minor changes from previous versions of the engine but it's mostly the same thing.

Just got some spare money from selling some stuff on ebay so I pre ordered this and am now preloading it!

Also saw a preview video and it looked pretty good

Its released on the 14th or something right?

They've officially announced it's due for release on the 14th March.

Try putting your address all in one line. I had problems purchasing due to having a flat number and using a seperate line.

Steam is so slow though, 10mb ntl connection and it cant download quicker than 180k/sec.

Oh well it will still be down before tuesday

hmm not sure about the sniper view? If the CoD2 patch doesnt make CoD2 a hell of a lot better I will be switching, probably to RO.

It took me well less then a day and I was going at around 60kb

Can't wait for this now, getting really excited. I'm bord of all my current games and I havn't been inspired to buy anything else recently.

You absolute god send, worked a treat, i also live in a Flat #, # Madiera Park jobby so i was putting the Madeira Park on the 2nd line. I thought it was because i was £1300 overdrawn, but no, woohoo.

Im thinking of getting this game but im not sure. Is this the sort of game that could compete with css and dods which takes up much of my gaming time. I rarely play cod2 online as i find it laggy on the 64 player servers so i might have that problem on RO.
