omfg why couldnt they have just sent this with the preload, instead of having everyone on th edge of there seats to 7pm and then making them wait for fricking ages. :mad:

its downloaded its update but i cant seem to play it i click on the game which says 100% ready but nothing :mad:

Yeah I did the validate and now I'm stuck in the queue at 82% also. lol

Valve should have employed the use of more bandwidth and download servers for tonight me thinks.

For all those who missed Reppyboyo's and my post.

You have to validate the local files to force it to download the remaining files - Right Click RedOrchestra - Properties - local Files - Verify Integrity, will download the necessary files and will work.

Great, appears none of the servers are compatable with the Steam version.

lol ace I gave in and decided to get this.

Was going insanely so I cancelled it thinking my modem needed resetting.

Only just read on here and other people are having same thing oops.

I saw a few videos of the beta and Im not to bothered about the gfx.

I restarted steam and deleted the clientregistery.blob file and am getting decent speeds now.

Ive played it for about 30mins so far i think:
pros:
seems very tactical and slow so you got to use your head...also a quick and accurate finger trigger helps

the maps seem totally different from one another

cons:
Very poor graphics on highest settings
unusual controls

Overall i think its got potential to be a great game but i dont think we will see that until at least the game has been out for a while along with some updates.
