Regrets

Really? Could you elaborate a little on why you didn't like it?
For me, cod 4 is one of the best multiplayer games ever made.

After being told to buy it from virtually every friend I have, I played it for a short while but just found it boring. I guess I was just getting tired of multiplayer FPS games, the single player campaign was very forgettable at least.

Regret never jumping on starwars galaxies near the start.

Finaly got around to trying it 5 years later on, all i saw was a ghost town of something id imagine id have loved when it was alive with players building it all.

It's something thats making me want to play tor... just because:)

I regret buying MW2 and MoH = tripe!! Bloody steam makes it to easy to sit back and buy games you know you shouldnt!!

Then i played Darksiders on xbox and i was... :p :D

Grand Theft Auto 4 for the PS3. Absolutely hideous to look at and play. Blurry and with a poor frame rate, god knows how this got such good reviews.

Since bought it and the episodes on the PC and it is a hundred times better game.

Doom 3

loved doom and doom 2 - sorely disappointed by what was essentially a on the rails shooter

I regret buying FUEL and more recently TDU 2.
They promised so much, but failed to deliver on almost everything.

I also regret buying the Penumbra pack, as I'll never be brave enough to complete one :p

For FPS games, I regret buying Shattered Horizon and Plain Sight. Classic scenario of 'these trailers and screenshots look cool, I'll bite' then never to play it again after the initial 5 minutes.

Only one, and I buy loads of games, and that's Spore.
Even upgraded my PC before release so it'd be able to cope because of all the hype. Biggest pack of lies outside politics/legal world.
If I were to describe my feelings about this you wouldn't see this page for asterisks.

TDU2 for me, I pre-ordered it and forgot about it. When it came out I just couldn't get into it, Steam says I've played 3 hours of it.

shogun 2 total war, just bored of the series i guess, none are as good as medieval 2 i dont like how they changed the campaign.

Dragon Age Origins + Awakening

I read about these games and thought that I would be into it, but I found them boring, the story was generic drivel and the characters I didnt give two hoots about (Alastair what a ******). And the load times were too numerous, 15 second load just to enter a house then same load time again to go out, no thanks.

Then when you get to the encampment, the scripted story just tapers off and youre left to go where you like, I signed up for a scripted story game not elder scrolls oblivion.

Most recently, Men of War Red Tide.

I bought this game assuming it had multiplayer, but to my dismay its singleplayer only.

Not an out and out regret, I will play it one day.
