Regrets

Another vote for Black Ops: it's an atrocious game in almost every aspect. I really don't know why people are still playing it and more importantly sanctioning more releases of the same level by buying the DLC :confused:

Another one would be Empire Total War. Again, another excellent series that got lazy. Both of these games I bought at full price and are now gethering dust.
 
a lot of the games people mentioned in here could have been solved by simply buying second hand. i agree with what plenty of people have said but don't regret any as it cost me approx £2 after selling them on again
 
That's a fair point about second hand, and thankfully in my case most of the games I bought were a few weeks or months after the release date, so prices were substantially lower. I rarely pay full release day price anymore. Some of the ones I bought were sold on. One of them, I think it was COD MW, I gave to a friend, which he loves. I only bought MW2 due to having a voucher and there not being anything else in store that I wanted. I did not enjoy that much, at all.

ah yes i forget about steam being on cod. i sold mw2 to a user on here and discovered it was tied to my account and nothing i could do about it which was a shame. it was a decent game so i don't regret getting it but it does suck that's it just sat in my cupboard doing nothing and never will do anything again
 
Yeah, that's exactly how I feel, too Mammalian. I wouldn't even mind giving away BO if someone else got some use out of it. As it is, it'll be going in the bin soon. Unless someone on here can make a suggestion?
 
Lot of hate for blops here :( It's got it's flaws but it is easily the best cod since cod 4. Very balanced. Great game in my opinion.
 
^^ I think world at war is decent/quite good if you stick to rifle only servers.

blops is the best cod since waw.

The last game I have regretted buying has most definitely been MW2, although I had fun playing it for a few weeks, it soon become quite obvious how messed up it actually was.

Other than that I have not really regretted anything, as I am very very cautious with my purchases. Oh well I did buy DC Universe, but that was fun for the first month, and I got to enjoy that great mmo elitist swell for a short time with my old WoW friends (and long term current gaming buddies).

It wasn't exactly a great game but at least I got to taste another mmo.
 
What are people bothered by in MW2? Aside from no dedicated servers, which has actually saved the game for me :/
 
Ground Control 2, they took Ground Control, removed all the good bits, and bingo, there you have Ground Control 2.
I havent made any bad purchases since, I've been very picky over what I spend money on when it comes to Video games these days.
