*** Resident Evil 2 Remake ***

just finished it and wow epic.

I understand what some are saying about it not really being the same......and its not.
Its missing that magic really, but things have moved on in the 20years gap.
I hope its still got plenty puzzles and quiet working things out moments too.

If this is what it need to be to appeal to a broader more modern/younger audience then that's fine, cos if it didn't we wouldn't be playing this at all.

Just finished it! Only managed to get up to the red film room due to taking my time and staring at things comparing to what I imagined it would look like from the original. My imagination is a lot closer to the original than this, but not complaining.

I certainly see where Moothead2 is coming from. This is very different to the original. It feels like they combined the original with Resident Evil 7. A part of me would have liked them to stick to more of the original, but then another part of me says forget about the original, go play that if and when you want to; enjoy this brand new experience!

Overall I am still very excited and am looking forward to playing it on release, though maybe slightly less excited now maybe due to the above, but still excited.

By the way, there are bullets galore here in this demo, I wonder if that will be the same in the game. I killed all zombies and had left overs :D

I'm liking it. Ran 100+ FPS maxxed out at 1440p no problems at all.

For me it runs solid 60fps at 4K. Well 57 as I limit it for best results with G-Sync. Never saw it go over 7GB memory, even though the game was saying it would be 13gb and I was in the red in the options as my 12Gb was not enough. Maybe they want to us buy a Radeon VII? Lol

I wimped out and turned the volume down. :(

Wimp! You are not Worthy of this game! :p

This game seems to have the same bug for me, can't control sound when playing. Maybe it is Afterburner running in the background causing it? It happened on a few other recent Resi games also for me.

When I started it the sound was on low and I could not increase it without coming out of the game, so I played the whole thing on low volume due to being worried about the 30 minute timer.

I can't believe they added UW support. :p

Even though i forgot i had 4x Super on, it still ran great :D

How to reset the timer.

Thanks, going to try and reset the timer and play again now :D

Actually don't fancy using that SAM tool, so will just wait.

The damage system is really cool, but goes a little overboard sometimes. Straight up shot this guys face off and removed the contents of his head, and still he comes :P

God-damn
"collapsing floor in the library did me again, same as it did 20 years ago!"

Ended up wasting all my ammo, ran out of time, didn't get a single medallion nor the shotty in the armoury. I think I need a refresher! :D

BTW, anyone know if this has any of the content from RE 1.5? I'd love to see the
"giant gorilla in the parking lot"

That's the undead for ya - they don't need faces! :D

I fell foul of trying to walk too close to a guy I'd already "killed" *munch munch* :p

personally i just prefer keyboard and mouse for these types of games, 1st and 3rd person, although i do use a controller for driving games and the old fixed camera angle resident evil remake game, but thats because aiming doesnt matter in that game, with a mouse i find aiming much easier, cant to wait to try this demo, going in shortly, anyone play this on older hardware ? hope i can play it decent with i5 4690k and gtx 970
