*** Resident Evil 2 Remake ***

I would not wait up especially its rare to have a late release on Steam its usually 5 or 6PM Friday evening to keep retailers happy  same thing happened with Shadow Of The Tomb Raider the timer reset itself before it unlocked!

It unlocks at midnight. There's a post from Capcom on the Steam forums.

Anybody with elite photoshopping skills able to make a custom desktop icon? The one with the game is so ugly and I can't find one on the net :D

Looks like somebody had made this one a short while ago?

I'd planned to book it off, but then something "urgent" came up and I have to work tomorrow day, evening, and Saturday. :(

I'm going to do a couple of hours tonight, it's not every day you get a RE2 remake. :)

Game looks incredible @ 4K  :D one of the better looking PC games. I cannot even max it out right now best I can manage is max everything except Shadows on High with a GTX1080+1920X Threadripper CPU! If you have newer high end hardware this game will use it fully! Also it might be a remake but do not expect the same game it takes a different direction as soon as you start forget the demo that was just a small taster of what is to come!

For the love of god board up the windows, not sure if the game runs in realtime when ur not in an area or if it was based on progression but holy crap. I won't say when/where/what but that route is nope nope city in my game from now on.

For those using the work arounds to redeem the game

I managed to create an AMD Rewards acc last night and it's now confirmed Im running a 580, so that part of it is still working.
Unfortunatley on logging in you can no longer rip the cdkey from teh site code :(

So If you're looking at buying a key you'll have to link to your steam acc it seems

Is there a way to sell this game code from AMD code on? I've activated the awards on my account and can redeem resident evil 2 now, however, it is going to do it via the steam login pop up window i.e. put it straight into my account without showing the key first.

Maybe I can activate the game for my account but then unlink/delete it and sell it on then?
