*** Resident Evil 2 Remake ***

Just now I read what the Deluxe Edition has. So it is just a bunch of skins? I don’t do costumes etc so no need to order the digital deluxe version for me then. Had they done something a bit better like classic mode as I suggested earlier, I would have gladly paid for that. Still hope it is included in the base game.

The Deluxe Edition contains the main game and the Extra DLC Pack which includes the following items:

-Leon Costume: "Arklay Sheriff"
-Leon Costume: "Noir"
-Claire Costume: "Military"
-Claire Costume: "Noir"
-Claire Costume: "Elza Walker"
-Deluxe Weapon: "Samurai Edge - Albert Model"
-"Original Ver." Soundtrack Swap

It would be fantastic if they bundled in the original game just made to work with modern OS's properly. They would play very differently from eachother anyway and it would definitely sway me.

Have you tried the SourceNext version of re2? It was made to work on modern PC's, although it is probably really hard to buy now. I installed it on win 10 the other day and it works perfect although it runs in a small window.

I had the original PC version working on Windows 7 some years ago. Managed to get maximum aa and af working on it, it looked cool :D

These days I just emulate it, as I cannot be asked with the setup which can be a bit involved as it is so old. Not played it since I heard a remake is happening to try and forget as much as possible to make the experience more fresh.

It would indeed be cool if they packaged the original with the game. Should be super easy for them to do really. If I was the developer I would do it as something you unlocked when you completed the game :)

Quite excited when I heard that this was a remake and not just a "reskin"
Resident Evil 7 restored my faith in the franchise, so I'm hoping for more of the same.

Price will come down a bit more before release
I am thinking we will be able to grab it for between £26-30 before release. But even if it did not come down a penny, I would be more than happy to pay the current price. Just happy they made it. Now I hope it gets loads of day 1 sales so we see Resident Evil 3 Remake :D

I think if you're pre-ordering with the intent to help the game do well, it would probably be better not buying from a grey key seller. GMG have it for £36.89 and the devs probably get a lot more of that money https://www.greenmangaming.com/games/resident-evil-2-pc/.
Are they still classed that these days?

Got a good point though, I wanted to support Deus Ex: MD and pre-ordered it from GMG years ago when they had a 20% off code. I will probably do the same again.

I'm not sure, but whenever I have ordered from CD keys it always gets sent as a scan of a code, rather than a legit code you'd get from GMG etc. They are certainly much better than the likes of G2A where the code could be stolen or anything. For the sake of an extra quid or so its probably a better bet if your aim is to support the devs as much as possible.

It's a shame the 10% off code on GMG doesn't work with RE2 :(. If it did i'd be even more tempted to break my self imposed no preorder rule.
