Resident Evil 3 Remake

Completed it on standard, assisted and hardcore now.

S ranked assisted with no problems

Can't believe the requirements to S-rank Hardcore mode...1:45!

That's probably me done with it now. Got just under 15 hours playtime and 28/32 achievements.

Only got 53 of 56 story files read though.

I got one missing. 3 playthroughs can't find it!

I am on Final Fantasy 7 Remake now. Bloody awesome Remake. Loving it. Will be keeping me busy for a while I am guessing so no more Resident Evil for a while.

My steam counter is on 14 hours and I know I will get another 17 at least out of it. Well worth the money. £30 I think is a fair price if you are really into Resident Evil and like to play it a few time to unlock stuff.

Just posted in the console thread but thought I’d share my disappointment here. It’s a beautiful looking game and loads of atmosphere, but the previous remake was much longer and, frankly, better. The core ‘streets’ section is sooo small / short.

I paid a whopping £43 (!) for it because I wanted to pay for it there and then on my PS4 - I did have fun but yeah... I do feel a little sour once it finished.

This is rather hard to rank for me. But right now I will put it in front of Resident Evil 4.
...lol, mate. What even.

Lol :)

As I said, Resident Evil 4 is a good game, just not a very good Resident Evil game. I already completed Resident Evil 3 Remake more times than I did Resident Evil 4.

I hated Resident Evil 4 for that exact reason, it's an alright game, but it's a terrible Resident Evil game. Played it through once and that was enough for me.

Finished the game last night in just over 3 and a 1/2 hours, and that was what I thought was taking my time and making sure I got all weapon upgrades etc. I'm so glad I didn't pay for it. I get that the original was the same, and even the RE2:Remake could be finished in a couple of hours, but for some reason, this just felt more rushed and more like DLC. Looked fantastic, fun to play and a very good remake, but certainly not worth any where near full price. It's a £20 game at best

Well this was a lie, I started nightmare mode and am on the very final boss with 11 mins to go, to get S-rank

*******-hard this final version though. Pretty much one hit kills you, and more things on his body to shoot at than normal.

Edit - just realised I actually have 26 minutes to complete it.

Where does it list the bobbleheads I have collected as I have no idea if I have them all after my first playthrough?
Had a look around but I cannot see anything.

Cheers, is that company/website good? they have a couple of things I was after on there at a decent price.

Make sure you untick their bobbins protection and use PayPal as you are protected automatically via them. You can also use the 'honey' voucher browser extension to auto apply the best money off code (gamivo usually have a few offers running).

For me I would say £30 based on what I find is replay value. I am on my 4th go now :)

But for others who will only play it once, yea, £20 max.

Haha. Like me, thought I would stop on the 3rd go, nope, on my 4th now. I think I will just keep playing it until I get rocket launcher and complete all achievements. Meaning another 2-3 playthroughs for me :p:D

I'm not bothered about the achievements. I dragged it out & took my time with it & managed to get a time of 7 hours 11 Minutes. Yes it's not much for £33ish but it was a fun 7 hours.

Got my final achievement last night , feels like cheating that you can use the rocket launcher to get top rank ... i still used it though :p

Haha. I plan to use it on inferno difficulty also. How many hours did you clock up on steam in the end and do you plan to play anymore? :)

24 hours done, having fun now going through all the shop points, unlocking weapon kills etc, still have to get the under hour achievement, and play it on nightmare and inferno, short game but im having fun with it, maybe some dlc later by capcom ? could play as Brad after he was bit, Nicholia maybe a time based 10 minute mode where he has to get to another extraction chopper in an alternate ending scene would be nice, marvin maybe ? last stand mode in the rpd

Nice. I am still at 15 hours, but will get to 24 easily :)

I do like what they did with the shop. All resident evil games should have this.

I like your dlc ideas, mainly the Marvin one but I suppose that would have been a RE2R dlc if it was ever going to happen. I would only pick them up on sale if they are any good.

Completed it on Nightmare with S-rank....still wasn't enough to unlock the Rocket Launcher though :(

Shall I bother with Inferno without it or will it be too tough?

I liked that Brad turned up again inside the Police station on Nightmare mode
