Just started Chapter 13, man what a RIDE! some places are visually stunning.

Managed to get this running at 3840x1600 med to high settings dlss quality at mostly locked 100fps. Remarkable on a 3060ti. Cheers mrk for the dlss pointer, looks and runs so much better now.

Upto chapter 4, each chapter seems to be perfect length for a nights play for me. Great game so far.

Final krauser fight in the ruins was enjoyable.

Couldn't quite understand the best way to defeat his final form so just spammed him with all the heavy grenades I had accumulated.

Gemming up the Lynx you can find in a locked square box ends up being very lucrative, I'm one step away from maxing out the Red9, just got the Exclusive unlock to go, it's 100k!

I've also enabled DLSS too, there is minimal difference visually vs native FXAA+TAA for sharpness, there is some distance light source shimmering as seen in various games using DLSS but it's largely ignorable. It does mean with DLSS Quality enabled I can lock the game to 120fps, and the GPU still runs a bit quieter due to the internal render res being lower. locked 75fps was fine, but you can definitely feel a game like this motions faster at a locked 120 - Probably amplified by the wider FOV, either way it's a super nice gaming experience.

One of the other wow moments for me was the first time entering the castle, visually stunning and on par with Res Evil village's first castle entry.

Even with RT reflections off, screen space does do som really cool effects, reminds me of Uncharted 4/Legacy, but even more refined, you get screen SSGI in this as well, and marble walls reflect objects/:

Ashley was also impressed by my shooting range skills...

Damn, I'm on chapter 10 with 17 hours clocked. I've been going back and forth hunting for stuff lol and just exploring bits.
