Here is how I predicted it will end up on my list:


1- Resident Evil Remake
2- Resident Evil 2
3- Resident Evil: Code Veronica
4- Resident Evil 3
5- Resident Evil 2 Remake
6- Resident Evil 4 Remake
7- Resident Evil 0
8- Resident Evil Village
9- Resident Evil 3 Remake
10- Resident Evil 4
11- Resident Evil 7
12- Resident Evil 5
13- Resident Evil: Revelations
14- Resident Evil: Revelations 2
15- Resident Evil 6

I actually think it may end up above RE2 Remake. But I will need to complete it at least twice to know for sure. Also things change with time as sometimes you kind of get cought in the hype of the moment at the time.

I am definitely enjoying more than RE Village, that's for sure though.
 
Here is my list using that tool. So far I would stick RE4 Remake on S tier or at worst A.

This marks the first time in memory I have piled so many hours into a game in such a short space of time.

I'm amazed at how well balanced the dark scenes in this are once you greatly reduce the vignette using RE Framework. Take this area for example, all the details in the dark subtly visible, with Vignette on, it just surrounds the frame in pure black which was annoying. Vignette should have been an option in settings but at least RE Framework is easy to install and use.

And one of the stand out moments for me so far is the blinded charger beast in the dungeon, just sneaking around him then getting a charge run with all the particles and the sound, superb:

It works properly now? Last I checked a few days ago it was not working apparently.

Yeah. If they go with RE 5 next I will 100% not buy it day 1. It needs to be Code Veronica done by the A team. The B team messed up RE3 Remake as it could have been so much better.

Just imagine an RE3 Remake where they kept everything from the original and expanded it and then made nemasis pop out randomly in different areas in each playthrough. That would have been awesome!
 
Been busy and not played for quite a few days. Still on chapter 6.

Can someone link me to the DLSS mod please. Anything else new I should try?

From what I can see no new patches.

That and the fact they should have done better overall with the game in my opinion. Don't get me wrong, it was good, but it could have been great. To me they took a step back from the original, where as for RE 4 Remake they took a step forward.

That's why I take my time and explore everywhere before moving on and also go for headshots if I can. Ammo conservacion is a lot of fun in Resi games, for me anyway. I usually get to the end though and realise oh ****, got all this awesome weapons and ammo I did not get to use all :cry:

Bloody hell, you completed it twice already? I want your adult life, I am still on chapter 10!

Loving it so far. Definitely better than the original for me.
