Resident Evil 7!!!

Should have all been content included in the main game like it used to be! Even for Capcom's recent low standards this is outrageous as most of the content is the equivalent of what you used to unlock in RE4 for instance after beating it on hard mode!

True. Well, I was happy with the main game and happy with the price I paid for it. But they won't be getting any more money out of me for RE7. Next they will see my money for RE2 :D

Easily my favorite game...ever! Well done Capcom for bringing Resident Evil back to horror fans.

Any recommendations on anything worth playing after this?

I am definitely suffering some withdrawl as non of my other games seem remotely interesting now!

Have you played Alien Isolation? If not, it's a far better game.

The Evil Within is a great game - made by the same guy who did Resident Evil 4.

Really? Never tried it..

I'll give it a whirl thanks!

It's on Sale on Steam all the time for pretty cheap, but if you can't wait for the next sale then it's pretty cheap at CDKey sites at the moment.

If you liked the Alien movies, you will like the game, it's got the environment and atmosphere spot on. The music and sound in the game is prefect.

The only complaint about the game that people make is that it's a long game. It took me about 24 hours to complete but I did some backtracking and just enjoying the game.

The game will scare you or keep you nervous pretty much all the time.

I tried it for a while but the controls felt cluncy and somewhat primative compaired to....

See what I'm doing? Nothing feels good enough now!
Yeah I now how it feels - it sucks when you complete a game you really enjoyed. I missed RE7 too when I finished it but then I had the same feeling when I completed The Evil Within - just remember time heals all wounds and you'll get over it in a couple of weeks! :D Don't be put off by the first level in The Evil Within - I've heard a few people say they couldn't get into it after trying the first level but the rest of the game is quite different. I think the feel of the controls is deliberate - they are designed to make you feel vulnerable, you'd be denying yourself a great horror gaming experience by writing it off.

I'll also second Alien Isolation - it really is a masterpiece and is truly terrifying. I never felt such a sense of achievement when I completed a game before, in the sense that I actually managed to get through it!

This sounds good! I've heard it doesn't really involve much fighting the alien and that stealth is a big part of the game..

I'm not the stealthiest of players, but I'll give it a go..

Thanks for the kind words and moral support.. ;)

Yeah, the game is pretty much stealth. You can't kill the Alien, only scare it away. The humans and Working Jo's you can kill if you must, but if you make noise, the Alien might come and rape your face. :p
