Quick question....
Have any of you ever "de-yellowed" a console? My NES and Dreamcast suffer from this horrific disease and i'm trying to find an easy way to clean them![]()
Can anyone offer any advice on this?
Just a heads up on a weekly show that's started called The Game Chasers on youtube, its about 2 guys who travel America looking for old game bargains, worth a watch.
Theres 4 episodes so far, here's the first.

i cant remember for sure but i remember seeing someone cleaning/bleaching the yellow off with a peroxide solution, aslong as you remove all electronics try a few things on an out of site location and see which works best
I feel i got quite lucky with this its the original black label version! (black discs)

They have some amazing retro gaming stores in the states. Does any one know of any stores like them in the UK?
ok so I've finally got round to digging the NES out of the loft and playing a bit of mega man 2 on an old 14" portable TV that's in the kitchen
The console is working relatively well albeit a bit of cartridge blowingI'm thinking of changing the pin connector to hopefully remedy this issue and also clean the carts .

I still don't get it - there's nothing special about that copy, is there?
Just the fact that it's not plat, I think the price being £2.99 or 3 for £5.00 is pretty awesome.
