It's also beautifully crisp, off-white SNES colour plastic. No yellowing in sight.
It's lovely. Very envious would love a SNES again.

So gutted I got rid of my CPC464. I'm tempted to turn my spare room into a retro gaming room tbh but am trying to resist!I've got one, but the thing is, they look crap on modern TVs. I get much better picture quality through SNES9X.

My cartridge slot on the SNES seems to be going west as well - have to re-insert games several times to get them to work.

Sadly some people never looked after their discs like I did back in the day, case to console and back again how hard is that?!So after modifying one of my SNES units to play games from all regions, one of the short comings was that I could only play Japanese and PAL carts due to them being the same physical shape.
So i had a second unit which i decided to take one step further, so i fitted another SuperCIC and this time went about modifying the cart slot. I managed to source a slot cover from a US machine and went about making the bugger fit. After a lot of cutting it fitted. It looks quite good if i do say so myself and i tried to keep it original looking as possible.
Effectively this is a universal SNES![]()
