No need, you get XP boosts as quest rewards and if used sensibly last all the way through.

glad I could help the guild somehow, just need to blast through these stories to level up I certainly did
Cool, now all we need is another 30 players in and we set, although we have got close to 120, still not quite feeling right, some players in try hard, but think we have a lot of guild hoppers and maybe to many alts!

I have not played SWTOR for ages, I bought the deluxe package back in the day, then got peeved as it required a monthly payment, then lost those characters when I stopped playing and it went F2P.
I was not that good at the game, and when they basically humped us who paid for the game, I lost interest. Back then you were not even allowed to post within the forum with no subscription.
So have things changed, has it gotten better?

Pretty sure its for subs only but could be wrong.
I've been recommending people contact you when I see requests pop up in chat. A few have joined.
I shot from lvl 20 to 33 in no time after subbing but after the last 2 days I've just hit 34 or 35, seems to have slowed again.
Cheers m8, if you are a guild member you can also invite to the guild, in game command is /ginvite <name>
Besides the 12x XP, I'm not sure you would find the game any more to your liking than you did last time.
NB: You cant lose your characters, log in and they will still be there.
I was going to say; how did he lose the characters; unless he deleted them; Bioware wouldn't of; now if he meant; lost the ability to play more than 2 characters when it went f2p; then I can see that....
Wow, so many changes! Love the fact that you no longer have to keep companion gear up to date, that was a bit of a pain. And that you can just set them to a healer/tank etc role.
Some major changes to crafting, bit miffed that my cybertech can't craft armouring mods anymore, but we'll see how it balances out with other changes.

I've had a quick scan over the changes...it sounds like i may as well of waited to play it. Instead of learning one game to a point it was ok to play and now having to relearn everything.
I actually enjoyed kitting out companions and i've been working on cybertech too, wonder if it was wasted time
I've also still not had my speeder from subbing
EDIT: and these download times :'( did ok to 50% and after 2 hours it's just hit 60%

HI Guys, ive just downloaded the game so feel free to add me KingDiomedes. Used to play star wars galaxies back in the day so after reading your post thought i would give this a go
