Rig/Cruncher images and specs......

So I just finished my first ever watercooled system :)

Its a 2500K with 2x6990. Watercooling consists of two alphacool blocks for the graphics cards and xspc raystorm block for the cpu. 18w DDC with xspc res top and 560 rad. running nice and cool and near enough silent at about 50C. Its currently the highest rac host on Milkyway :)

What res do you play at?
2x 6990 is an overkill for most people :o

Yeah its in the loft and doesn't even have a monitor attached so I don't do much gaming on it ;) I just had a look today and after 8 months the water is looking a bit mucky so I need to flush it :/ It has also recently lost its place as top host on MW to a 4x7970 system :( I'm still deciding how to fight back ;)

 I didn't even realise 7990 actually existed  at the price too

I'm not sure if its really worth trying to get so much power in one system, its a pain powering and cooling them. I already have three 7970s and do plan to get another soon but I will probably run them in two seperate systems. Four cards in one system is a bit of a mare and needs watercooling really. I would probably need a psu bigger than my AX1200 too.

Its only took 2 years 10 months , 8 cases , 7 motherboards , 11 sets of ram , 6 monitors and umpteen gpu's but I finally have my ideal setup.

A nice spanking new Dell, set of bose companion 5 speakers and a working sr2 with 2 x L5645's with 1 x gtx 590 in a Xigmatek Elyssium.

Now that everything is in its place and working correctly I will concentrate on more gpu power.

Hydra out of her water cooled home and heading for a 2u rack case.

Time to redo the the water cooling on the i7 990X rig me thinks......been running on air far too long.

Kit ordered to cool the CPU - going for a new look - should be here some time next week.

Will post some pics when done :D

Finally bought a new case, a NZXT switch 810.
I decided to have fun with two loops, mainly to use up bits I had lying around.

It has two EVGA superclocked 660Ti's OC'd to 1215 and 1241 and a Zotac Titan that is at stock at the moment. they are cooled with EK full blocks and acool XT45 420 rad with the three NZXT 140 fans that came with the case and an old XSPC pump-res combo.

CPU is a 3770K at 4.4ghz with a dangerden 240 rad, XSPC rega block and WACC pump-res from way back in the XP athlon days:D

The Titan is last in it's loop and is at 39c and the cpu is at 58c-68c according to coretemp and everything is at 100% 24x7:cool:
