Depends on what your rims can accommodate, and what you're going to be riding on. If it's all about comfort and you're sticking to the road and very easy tracks, something like the Schwalbe Marathon Supreme would probably work quite well. I have them in 700x32c on my main bike and find them to be rather nice. If you need more puncture resistance or are going off road, there are others in the Marathon range that would be more suitable. Continental Gatorskins come in 700x23c if you want something a bit faster.Need to get some non-slicks for a 700km tour down France. Any recommendations? And also what size should I go for?
Look nice but probably a little out of my budget if I'm honest. Probably willing to spend a max of £20 per tyre.

Fork out a little extra on the rubber and you'll save on punctures....

Should help steady the bike when I'm working on it. Otherwise it wobbles about all over the place and sits on the brake cables, which partially applies the brake.
Speaking of which, how difficult is it to convert a bike to SS/fixie? The internal gear hub on my commuter is playing up, which got me thinking about converting it.Nope, it's a fixie![]()
I bought a Ribble Gran Fondo at Christmas. It's been excellent thus far.anyone got a bike from the Ribble bike builder website?
if so which one and was it any good?
