So, people that have flown them - how did you package your bike?
I got one of the Evoc bike bags. Excellent bit of kit. But if youre planning to cycle back from the airport you will need to be bagless.

I know. I wouldn't do it.I don't think that would be feasible for us. We would be riding to the airport and then riding from Paris back to London. As such we'd need to be able to assemble a case and throw it away once we set off from Paris :s

What sort of distances have you done so far?
I did 100 miles last year with about 3500ft, and the nearest I'd done before that was 63 miles. The 100 miles was much harder. The last 20 miles nearly killed me. Take lots of food and drink and eat a lot. I was getting through energy drinks, flapjack, cakes, anything I could lay my hands on.
Got a another couple from the LBS now.
