It's not new either. There's a few independent companies dotted about doing similar things. I'd be surprised if one or more major companies haven't picked the idea up yet, and if they haven't then there's obviously a reason (cost, operation, functionality etc).
 
Anyone ride CS8 from Lambeth Bridge to Vauxhall Bridge in the evening? If you do, I was the chap who flipped out at the lights at about 7 last night hurling all manner of abuse at the scooter pilot who undertook me in the cycle lane.....

Honestly, it's a good job I don't cay my u-lock too and from work or I'd be looking at seriously blackening my good name.
 
I went a bit geek with my cycle lighting and bought some waterproof LED strips and taped them to the inside of my jacket. I get laughed at by people sometimes but it's brilliant for both forward and lateral visibility.

Hmm, currently in two minds about switching over to CX tyres now. I didn't cycle today because i've developed a stinking cold, but hope to get out tomorrow. The ice had me a bit nervous, i can see slick 23 tyres having a bit of a nightmare on the surfaces i drove over today, so hopefully my 35 CX tyres would be a bit safer but much harder work.

Or am i being a big wuss-bag? :p

Where do you keep the battery pack?

Maybe have a christmas themed jacket?

Nah there is a separate one for each strip with a little switch on it. They take two button batteries that powers it for a good few months.
