Good tyres. I tried them and the Atoms on my tubeless set-up but the Atoms were just too thin at 19mm.

Remember to keep your pump clean. The latex in the tubes can spray back into the pump when connecting / disconnecting. If it builds up then you could be left pumpless.

Hmm...that had NOT occurred to me.. but yes... deffo somthing to keep an eye on.

Cheers Asprilla!

It didn't occur to me either. Then my track pump died. :(

Tried to clean it all out but there were just bits I couldn't get to.

In other news; new bike.......

Looks good, [DOD]Asprilla, though as a bike tart you should have aligned the valves and taken the photo in the kitchen, as per the rules. You'll probably have to forgo the front mudguard, as I doubt you've got enough clearance.

having been looking at those I think you may be able to fit some cruds to them.
guessing your little ones being trained Asprilla? how old now?

She's two and a half now. She's not been that interested in using a scooter especially as it gets stopped at every crack, lump and bump in the pavement. She can use this in the garden as well as the park so should see more use.

I've just received X2 Hutchinson Fusion 3 tubeless tyres, 700 x 23. Popped em on with a stans no-tubes kit, plus sealant. Has worked fine on a 100k ride last Sunday. I'm doing a 160k ride this weekend. I'll let you know how I get on.

good:- roll v fast, very smoth ride

bad:- flipping dear @ rrp 50 quid a pop (35 quid frm wiggle atm) tight bead, bugger to get on.

Hmmm, interesting, let me know how you get on.

What does the no-tubes kit consist of? And what does the tyre sealant do, is it self-repairing stuff?

I think I'll hold off buying one for my 9 month old then!

I really need to get my bike setup, done 28 miles at the weekend and both knees were killing me from 20 miles on wards, something is definitely not right.

Not sure why you're quoting me when you obviously haven't actually been to the Halfords website to verify for yourself.
