Just did a quick very gentle 7km to test out the bike gearing/brakes etc before the second half of the football kicked off. Loved it :). Will get out again tomorrow hopefully :)

I haven't got much to compare it to to be fair, but it felt absolutely fine for myself, tested it on pretty much my usual MTB route which is a mix of cycle path, grass, bit of gravel/uneven road and I didn't really seem to notice it change at all.

It was built Wednesday and dispatched Wednesday and arrived early Thursday morning in a mahoosive box. I didn't get around to sorting it out until a few hours ago as I've been out but just need to straighten the bars and put pedals on straight out of the box. It comes with the front wheel in place. Great service overall :)

Very glad I bought the padded bibs, though.. that's for sure!

cool, do let me know if you feel any flex over the next couple of weeks :) I'd be interested to know how those wheels perform..

enjoy the bike! looks really good

Cheers grudas, will do! Think I added you on skype a while ago when you were thinking of the PX, not sure how much you use it though!

Would you guys recommend getting a cycle computer/Garmin or stick with the iPhone for now? Just seen there's the Garmin Edge 200 for ~£70 on Amazon atm :)

Can someone also recommend me a mini pump to buy? Might occasionally take it on a ride with me and keep a small multi tool of some sort in the bag once I find one that looks decent.

Are you able to tell the difference with flexy wheels?
My powertap wheel is fairly flexy (24 spokes) and sometimes I can hear it rubbing on the brake when I push hard and tilt the bike over a bit. If I didn't hear it rubbing I would never know it was flexing - I can't tell from riding it.

Snap. Ridden everything from alu clinchers to carbon tubs and never felt anything flex, despite hearing the odd brake rub.

Grudas appears to have some odd obsession with wheels because he's broken a few sets smashing them around London. Buy a decent set of wheels and forget about it.

Same thing here. Can't say I've ever felt anything, only the odd noise here and there to give anything away, and even then you've got to be riding like a clown to get it all the time.

If you think you're going to stick with cycling then the Garmin Edge 200 at £70 is a steal.

Guys, with the power grudas puts down it's hard for him to not make wheels flex.

Probably comes with a stem mount like the 800.
Probably water proof like the 800? (upto 10 metres for 30minutes or whatever it is)

I didn't bother with a rubber case for my garmin and it still looks brand new, the only protection a rubber case gives is likely if you fall off and your bike goes cartwheeling down the road

That's pretty much it! :) the problem IMO is that if it rubs on the pad it makes you go slower no? :)

Plus the front feels a bit "soft" when you get out of the saddle and start pumping...

By about 0.01 of a mile an hour when it rubs once or twice on a ride...

You pedalling technique must be "interesting" if that's the case. Especially if you call it pumping...

Ditchling Beacon is my bitch. That is all.

Shamrock is 7s quicker, but he weighs nothing. After my dismal effort on the simulated Box Hill climb the other day I'm happy with 6.19.
