Sounds a bit like chainsuck. What condition is your drivetrain in?

Pretty good, as the parts are all very new, in the hundreds of miles. Although saying that, the bike did get brutally rained on while it was on the back of the car being driven home on Saturday night. I just figured that counted as a freebie clean :D. It could well be short on lube as a result.

Strava kit... any good at 50% off? It looks a bit try hard for my liking but if it represents good value at half price I'd be tempted to pick up any plainer looking bits.
It's a bit of an unknown. I personally wouldn't touch their shorts (too much unknown), but quite tempted by a jersey at that price...!
I did the Bwlch on Saturday (from Ogmore Vale) and that was a very pleasant climb. A quiet wide road up to the top of the summit, plenty of stray sheep, top views throughout (unlike the Tumble) and a steady gradient with an excellent open descent. Definitely one of the best climbs I have ridden so far in my short cycling career!!
Awesome, is that Bwlch near Llangorse? Or somewhere else? Throw me a link to the ride if you have it mate! ;)
I've ordered some Castelli Free Aero Race Kit Bib Shorts at £115 to see if those are any better.
These are awesome! I have the team versions and got them for £85 as they were XS. fit like a dream, my favourite bibs easily.
NFTO team summber bib choices are: Team shorts (£140), Free Aero Race (£140) or Volo Replica (£90). I'm probably going to just grab a pair of Volo's and wait for the others to go on sale (still got 2015 kit in stock, but only sales on the Jerseys). Although I'm very tempted to stick with Sportful instead and go for the Gruppetto's in Red/Black for £66! Team coloured enough to ride with as I'm not going to be racing...
Your bike appears to be missing saddle workshop :p
You're right, picture was taken before saddle moved :p

Must be ok with the position as totally forgot about it earlier. Longer ride after work so will be interested to see/feel what's sore/different afterwards! ;)

I would choose comfort over badge appeal every ride.

Ouch, got a pair of these for less than half that earlier in the year.

here's a raw bit of video from my commute today, with go-pro session.

small and pretty darn good imo! in case anyone wants to see direct footage, no editing.

Just had a proper look and I think I'll pass! Also remembered that I've still got a pair of Rivelo bibs on the way from Sport Pursuit and I also recently bought a pair of Pearl Izumi bibs when I realised that the Rivelo's wouldn't turn up in time. MUST STOP SPENDING!

Something that I'm sure some of you will have had experience with- ceramic dry lubes. First application my chain got noisy after about 70 miles, second it lasted to about 100 miles before getting noisier. Am I doing it wrong or does this stuff need topping up often? I've only used Finish Line wet in the past but thought I'd try something that attracts less crud when I swapped chains.

Dry lubes tend to require re-lubing quite frequently, yeah. In decent weather I'd expect to do it every 100 miles or so. In cack weather you're looking at much more frequently.

One thing to do to help maximise the lube life is to give it a good hour to soak in before you wipe off the excess.

Looks good but still not great to see number plates (looking at the Prius at the start)?

What capture is that 960p or full 1080p? It looks similar to my VIRB @ 720p (when looking at numberplaces). Although your overall picture does look better than mine, the main reason I've got mine for is number plates...

Really need to sort the vibration on mine, think it's just the Superstar mount struggling with the weight of the VIRB & 810. GoPro session is obviously loads lighter and wouldn't suffer the same...! :o

Pearl Izumi bibs were no cheaper over in Orlando, $160 for the only ones they were selling from the Pearl Izumi 'Outlet Store' on International Drive. Was most disappointed. Guy in the shop wasn't very chatty either and although a big place only 1/3 of it was cycling and all their own branded kit (with a few bits of Shimano shoes/overshoes).

I only use FinishLine lubes and don't bother with the summer ones due to what you've noticed. I'm currently using Green ceramic all weathers!

26 degrees on the way home! I was literally dripping when I got in. I passed someone in long sleeves and long legs... What is wrong with these people!

There was one day in July last year which was pushing 35C in London - on my commute home I saw a guy in full on winter kit. I guess his window for ideal cycling conditions is somewhat narrow.

Could be visiting, probably the same thoughts go through the minds of Majorcans every year seeing us brits in short sleeve and bibs at the end of Feb at the top of a mountain whilst they have full on winter gear and full on balaclava :D

Ah, I've only been giving it 5 minutes before wiping off the excess. I'll go and wipe the chain over and apply some more.

I don't mind too much if all it needs is a wipe down with a rag and re application. Not sure I'll buy it again though.

I was wearing long sleeves this evening, I am rocking some epic sun burn at the moment though :o Luckily I have a very thin long sleeve jersey.

I did pickup some of the Castelli UPF50 arm protectors after giving myself sunburn. Despite how thin they are, I couldn't wear them in 35C. 25C was bad enough!

Decided I don't really want to ride my cannondale after the collision with a car the other night there.

Fork was looking a little corroded before but when I took the wheel off to true it(it's still pringled) paint under the crown had folded up and cracked. Not sure if it's just the corrosion or because I had the car hard enough to damage the fork.

Got this as a backup for now to ride to work on Wednesday then hopefully training ride on Thursday. It's the guy with the AR2 and S2, nice customer is nice.
