Pretty glad I'm not out again today..aside from my legs being tired the weather is pretty grim. Looks like there's several days of it left too :/

Currently re-evaluating our plans for a 300 next weekend. We may drop it down a bit given that we're doing a 300 in August anyhow.

So 270 miles instead? :p (going by your 'shortened' yesterday)

Weather is terrible here too. I've just been out driving supercars round a weird track and unfortunately the instructors were quite limiting due to a very wet track.

Lol :p In my tired state I'm voting for halving the ride length (which would also mean one of our group that is currently very out of form would probably join us instead of wussing out). I think I may be overruled though :)

Can imagine driving super fast in this weather even on a track would be...interesting

Aha, good luck whichever ride you do. I still need to do this month's Gran Fondo on Strava... it's almost middle of June already - normally I complete it within first two weekends of the month!

Unfortunately not super fast on the track but I did get a slide on with the BMW i8 :D A passenger lap in the Ariel Atom was pretty damn slidy but super fun too!

For the most part it is probably more fun driving my car on some of the country roads... better road surfaces by far.

Maxeh & I had a rather soggy pre-breakfast ride. A short 25 miler including a lap of a lake in the next town over, Tegernsee. We thought that was going to be our golden window of 30 minutes sunshine today.

Luckily (or not so) the weather seems a bit unpredictable. As I type this from the hotel spa after, having just marinated in the Jaccuzi :p, a monster storm cloud is looming.

We were blessed with clear sunny skies and intermittent clouds, 20 degrees and a gentle 5mph breeze this afternoon.

So 'carpe diem'...and 'float' (read haul) ourselves up the local Cat 2 to Spitsingsee, 2.3m, 1,150ft 9% average with little below that once in to the thick of it. And then of course fly down it at 49.7mph average

22 mins up, 2 mins down.

Just past the top down about 100ft there was this:

Power meter ordered. I've gone ahead with the 4iiii precision, largely because at £350 it's a bargain.

Pitiful numbers incoming at the end of the month.

Do you still have to send your crank arm off for it to be fitted, or do you fit it yourself?
