All about riding Z2 everywhere and letting fat monkeys go past without reacting!

Dunno what you lot are talking about drying. Lycra dries ridiculously easy. Could leave it outside in the rain and it'd be dry! :D Just hang it up off a window handle so it gets some air over it (obviously leave window open)

Can't tell you don't live in London

Agreed to do a second imperial today with the guys from work. 100.9 miles this time so I'll officially be in the club ;) It is around the Norfolk broads and pancake flat :D It will come after a 2 week work trip in the middle east so it'll be good to get out there and stretch the legs a bit.

Lycra dries quickly but chamois don't.

Physics does not work in my house. My jersey from Wednesday is still wet this morning. What's that all about?!

I've taken a slightly different route in yesterday and today. It's 13 miles rather than 11.5, but you avoid some nasty turns and it's got some long open stretches without junctions so you can really open it up. I absolutely battered it over a motorway bridge this morning and got a top 10 on strava for the climb - not bad for single speed! 528W for that according to strava's random power generator.

It makes me feel a bit drowsy for about 10 minutes or so after waking up but soon wears off. I got weird dizzy spells for about a month after starting it but they've stopped now. The deep sleep is great but I get lucid dreams too, which always seem to involve the house burning down or being broken into. Traumatic.

Yeah...that doesn't sound ideal. The girlfriend is actually more keen on trying them than I am currently! She doesn't actually do any exercise (but she does work in a shop, so is on her feet all day), but feels like the better sleep would help here feel less crappy in the mornings.

Regarding ZMA and waking up.
This was a big thing for me, I absolutely hate feeling groggy or sturuggling to wake properly in the morning so I was very careful and worried when first started taking them.... From my experience they put you into a deeper sleep very much in general but waking in the morning on my alarm even from deeper sleep is EASIER and I feel no different or even slightly less groggy on the mornings. I would go as far as saying 100% this is the case when I take ZMA, so my worries with this have completely gone and I would say my mornings are better when taken ZMA.

Of course, everyone is different, some people may feel more groggy or something but I am definitely better off in the mornings now.

Ace thanks. I am going to bite the bullet and order some then. Rather annoyingly I missed out on the TPW 1PILL deal :(

Perfect for my cycle when I'm up and on the road within 15 mins of my alarm going off :D

I think it is going until next week, just not advertised. Only on the smallest pots though. ie 90s. Mine are at home, so will report back my sleep tonight.

Got my winter bike out today :( Will need the mudguards later I fear

I'm bitten the bullet and bought a new chainset for my summer bike that has been warped for over 2 years since an accident. I think it's getting worse though and can't get the indexing right because of it. Is it typical to replace the BB at the same time? I've done it once before and it was easy to do. Current one has probably only done 2k miles and there's no play in it (unlike the last time when I had wobbling cranks!)

I am not looking forward to returning to UK tarmac. Don't think I've seen a single pothole out here!
Stop it! I've seen 2 appear the last 2 days on my short 4 mile inner city commute due to the rain!:(
Dynamo peloton decided to overtake a patrolling ambulance in the twisty after Broomfield Hill. Half of them nearly ended up on the ground due to oncoming cyclists/cars...
Lol, numpties hopefully learnt their lesson!

I think I'll just stick with my concoction of amphetamines, coffee and magic mushrooms. Sounds safer, cheaper and much more fun.
joke!

Good 'estimated' power & nice segment, top 3 soon? ;)
