Proper ranting both ways to be fair. You can see the in the reflection he has the bike in the air as if to throw it at the guy.

Two dicks together by the sounds of it.

And back to cycling.....

Woke up for the mornings bunch, checked phone, temperature -3.3c feels like -5.6c.... Went back to bed. Much too cold to consider riding in the dark. Down to freezing is OK, and acceptable if the sun is out, below that, not much fun!

Start of winter, everyone's sick, so now I've got sick, lots of training and aircon at work, sore throat and a bit of a cold. Did an easy 40km after work with some 1 & 2 minute efforts in there to break it up a bit. Throw extra fruit and veg plus vitamins into me and take it easy this week I think!

In your face! Here we have glorious British summer weather - rain, gale force winds, crap stewn across the roads that has been blown down by said winds. It's glorious cycling weather.

:(

Cycled into work today, bit of a headwind and light rain, i've just seen the weather report for this evening when i'm riding home .... i should technically have a 45mph tailwind! That said we all know it'll turn into a headwind about 5mins before i'm due to ride!

Absolutely loving my cycling at the moment, weighed in at slimming world last night, got my 8 stone lost award! I'm in training / weight loss for the Ridelondon 100 mile event that i'm doing at the start of August. Wasnt lucky enough to get a Ballot place so i went in via a charity route and i'm raising money for Breast Cancer Care. Looking forward to rocking out in a pink cycling jersey! :p

Good effort :)

You said in your other post you're slap bang in the middle of Derby and Nottingham, likewise! Did you find any routes in the area? I've asked previously and Daveski who's also local linked some :)

My commute into Derby from Long Eaton was pretty grim this morning, but also looking forward to the cheeky tailwind on the way home.

8 stone. Very nice! How much have you had to spend on new clothes? :p

A small fortune! I've set myself a target weight of 20 stone, I'm 22 stone dead at the minute so I've not gone crazy on a complete new wardrobe yet. I'll see how i feel / look at 20. It sounds like a huge weight and maybe it is, however at 6ft 6" with rugby player build i think that's probably going to be the weight i'll hover around.

Ah, nah i've not really loooked / found any. I do a nice little 50 miler down into Notts via the A52 through Beeston, down the ring road at towards Arnold, then down the A614 into Rainworth (stop off and visit the parents) and then back again via stabbo and stanton and home in Sandiacre. There's some nice country side out there.
