Ride home. No need to rush to cram everything into an hour. You don't want to have a time limit in weather like this!!

Good call. Ride home it is. Quite tired after yesterdays ride home but the weather is to good to turn down.

On a side note, you know the Rapha Team Sky tops, they say that they have coldback technology to keep you cool in the heat. Being black they should attract the sun etc. Well i wore a Aldi top home yesterday not thinking about it and the back panel for that is black. Holy cow it was hot! i could feel my back burning up big time. I thought it was just marketing gimmicks but i have to say im thoroughly impressed with the Team Sky Pro Jerseys, well worth the money imo. Well the $75 they cost in the sale!

Thanks! Ordered some too as I've a friend who always asks me - I don't mind giving him another for £1.85!

'Coldblack' isn't just a Sky thing, many of the higher end jerseys have similar.

See Sky jerseys everywhere these days, many of them with beer bellys and riding hybrids...

Hope you're not one of them Kimi! ;):p

Reading the blurb on these it seems quite a good idea - http://www.innertubeshop.com/collec...usb-light-illuminates-you-as-well-as-the-road

Basically a commuting 110 lumen front bike light which has a rear facing light to light up the rider, the usual front beam also has a deflection which lights the road directly in front of you!

it's a great frame, I'd get a new groupo (ultegra?) and a nice wheelset! that would be an upgrade imo.

Good thinking... any idea what kinda wheelset to look for. It has Shimano RS10s, which are reputedly poop. And I would probably agree there.

No beer belly, well not a big one:p but definitely a Sky jersey wearer. To be fair tho, ive got all kinds of jerseys from retro, to aldi to pro team ones. The blue sky pro team supporters jersey being my fav then the retro T Mobile:D

The CAAD10 would be a hard frame to beat (one of the best alu) without going good carbon, cheap carbon won't be better than it. The groupset will really be the 'upgrade' you'll be paying for - so going Ultegra/Di2/Dura Ace etc.

How old is the CAAD10 and what is your rough budget? In my opinion without spending a minimum of around £1500-2000 you won't be getting a significant 'upgrade' over the CAAD10 105.

my CAAD8 Tiagra is going towards winter/trainer bike as my Rose CGF Di2 is on it's way in 3 weeks time hopefully!

new shoes have arrived, so I have been goggle on fitment, and I check what sizes they have and to my surprise, they have reduced in price!

Don't know where you got them from but most places nowadays do 7 day price match! drop them an email to query.

E number of 20. Even if I did long rides at the weekend, numerically it would always defect back to 20 because of commuting.

That's right, uh, right?

Edit: unless on Saturday when I popped to Sainsburys on my bike instead of in the car, in which case it resets to 3 or something

No, its over your entire lifetime. So even if you do 10 miles every day throughout the week, if you've done 50 50 milers at the weekends your E number would still be 50. It's just that no rides under your E number count any more.
