Re hayfever, get some cetirizine tablets and take one before bed (personally it makes me drowsy/out of it so I take advantage of that to help me get to sleep). Aside from that, get a nasal spray and use that a few times per day. I quite like Beconase.

With the above combined I can function fairly normally on all but the worst days.

what's with dulwich paragon? I see lots of those guys around my area(near crystal palace) and they're quite chatty for what ever reason.. or super creepy, like the guy I OBVIOUSLY LEFT BEHIND(POWER) today, was just staring right into my bike and then my face without saying a word.. creepy :o

I have a set of 23c Vredestein Fortezza TriComp which I got free in a deal. They are not meant to be bad tyres and I was going to use them but I don't really want to go back to 23c again. I think ill sell them and use the money to get some more 25c Contis.

Hm, that's my second GP 4000 II rear showing pretty bad wear after around 1000 miles.

Looks like small splits through the rubber and casing on the center and one on the sidewall, replacement time :(

Jeez what are you doing to it. Done over 2000 miles on mine and the front is barely worn in. Rear just starting to go flatter in the middle.

My way of working out of tyres are worn is if I suddenly start getting regular punctures. On the sort of roads I ride on that's usually between the 1500-2500 mark on my Pro4Es.

At one point I went through a phase of replacing chains redonk frequently but I think I was just doing something seriously wrong to my bike at the time.

I replace tyres either when the handling goes sketchy (my last set of bontrage racelight AWPs went square and started getting really sketchy when leaning over) or as French says, when puncture numbers start climbing

Or when I run over a Stanley knife blade and cut the thing nearly in two.....

my brothers idea of the "tyre is worn now"

he still got away without punctures?? weirdo.

That last thing happened to me on a tyre I literally had just bought and put on the day before (which again was a replacement for when a friend fell on me due to dodgy brakes and ripped open a new (1 week old) tyre). I wasn't a happy bunny that week :/

That's pretty ridiculous. Londoners you see, stealing all our road repairs so you can get away with dodgy tyres :p
