Good effort, kudos!

Thank you, best part was the bit from Oxenhope to Hebden Bridge, where they had the Tour go up the other year! Never ending but brilliant and the decent was fantastic! Still have loads of signs from fans on the road which was cool to see!

Also did a section up to the M62. 60 miles in and still managed to catch and overtake another fella who was flagging. He looked slim and had all the cycling gear on. Were quite surprised. He admitted he was struggling as I bossed past him haha.

What a day out, last 15 miles were just a killer. Lost me legs by that point.

Does anyone have a pair of DHB non bib shorts?

I'm looking at aeron Pro's

What size do we think i need, I'm 6'3/4, 32" waist. About 11 stone 9

Had a couple of normal pairs when I started out, they size the same as the Active range do in bibs - I was around 35/36" waist back then, only recently down to around 32" and I now fit a Medium.

DHB pro sizes wouldn't be as generous as the Active, but I imagine you'd still be fine in a Medium (depending on thigh size, I may not be...)

Didn't you offer him your wheel?! Harsh! :p

He's gonna disappear and leave me behind :( I'm really not in very good shape at all at the moment!

Sabotage.

EDIT: GT85 on sale on wiggle, £2.99 a can!

What time were people allowed to start the Pru ride? There were people outside where I live that had finished at 10:45am!!

It was started in waves, my start time was 6.18am, managed to do it in 4h52m, was just hoping for under 6 hours, so chuffed with that.

The first wave was at 6am, not sure what the last one was. I was before the hold up on Leith Hill but I saw a guy come off at about 45/50mph down hill, was not nice

Brilliant day though, definitely do it again next year.

At least ive got a target now

Nice.
I guess by the lack of tape on the tops that you cant really use them with that big aero profile?
I wouldnt get on with that but it does look good.

I love them, the tops are super comfortable for climbing, the profile is a nice shape for holding, if I'm sat up sometimes just tend to rest my palms there too. Only mild annoyance is can't use clip ons if I wanted to.

Nah, had to show him up. Fat lad overtaking him up a hill haha! I had a job to do :)

Well done!

If you're out that way again you should go to denshaw and then do the climb up the a640 and b6114 to moselden height and over the m62. It's s beautiful climb and the bridge across the m62 is pretty breathtaking.

I'll look into that and have a bash a week on Monday :) thank you for the rec!

Congrats...

I seem to remember feeling that way after my first 100+

It's a killer! Need to do a few more and get used to them!

I think that's a setting you can change but by default it's usually set to ignore zero values.
In my opinion average ride power is useless if zero values are ignored - If you have zero values ignored and you're only pedaling for xx% of your ride then your average power won't be the full duration of the ride; only the time you were pedaling (producing power).
